Full Bio:

For five years before joining Propulsion Tim worked in a very niche corner of the customer service industry, as an attendant at a sensory deprivation float tank center. While he worked many roles in his time there, his favorite part of the work was interacting with the clientele and forming lasting relationships between them and the business by providing the best service possible. Before this he worked as an instructor for after school programs, teaching middle schoolers topics such as Math and Minecraft, Art based Restorative Justice, Creative Writing Dungeons and Dragons, and tutored math and writing in Study Hall.

get to know me:

Q: What is one of your favorite quotes?

A: “Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.” -Edgar Allen Poe

Q: If you could have any super power what would it be and why?

A: As much as I would love to fly, have super healing, or Spidey-Senses, I would choose teleportation so I could instantly reach any destination. True happiness is a life where you can go anywhere and you never have to drive.

Q: What movie or novel character do you most identify with?

A: The titular character in Alice in Wonderland. Hands down I would have been following that rabbit and gone down the hole after it. My dreams also tend to be pretty elaborate and follow a story line like Alice with her adventures in Wonderland.

Q: What new technology will transform the future?

A: Virtual or augmented reality devices. One day we will live in a world where you can see magical wonderful things in even the most mundane environments. If we get to the point where augmented reality glasses or contact lenses are commonplace and affordable maybe my childhood dream will be fulfilled: a “real life” Pokémon game.

Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

A: Ōkunoshima Island in Japan, which is inhabited by a massive population of rabbits. There are also ruins of old forts and gas factories, so bunnies in a pseudo post-apocalyptic setting. Yes please!
